REVIEW: W3LL People Nudist Lipshine Stick
What: Hybrid lip colour / lip care.  For: Lips needing a boost of colour, and is especially good for anyone who is a little wary of using traditional lipsticks.  Review: Another BRILLIANT clean offering for lips - I am head over heels for the Lipshine. I was sent the ‘Nudist 5’ colour which is a bright beetroot, just-sucked-on-a-lolly fuschia. Unlike conventional lipsticks, the...

HOW TO: Go Clean
I’ve learned a few things in my quest to clean up my (beauty) act - here’s some tips that I’ve picked up so far: Resist the urge to chuck everything out. This may be hard, as once you commit to going clean you may want to completely overhaul your beauty cabinet, but to throw out so many products is just too wasteful for me to justify.  Start by replacing the big-ticket items...

5 minutes with Miranda Kerr
What’s the latest with your skincare range Kora Organics?
“We have just launched a blog section on the website with over 35 bloggers - experts in nutrition, exercise, meditation and spirituality. I wanted it to be a place people could go to for information on health and well-being as well as quality organic products.”
What are your can’t-live-without products from the range?
“I love rosehip oil (it’s great for sun damage or scars), the body lotion, exfoliating cream and eye gel.”
You sing the praises of Tahitian noni juice …
“I’ve been drinking noni for the past 12 years. It has 177 vitamins and minerals, and is a potent antioxidant. It’s great for healing. If I had sunburn or pimples, I used to soak a cotton ball in it and put it on my skin. That’s why it made sense to use noni as a key ingredient in the skincare products.”
Why is natural skincare important?
Well it’s probably because the skin is the largest organ in our body, and it really does absorb everything that we put on it. I’ve done the research on some of the harmful effects of what is put into some products. It’s not good.
Apart from yoga and eating well how do you care for your body?
“Body brushing stimulates blood flow and exfoliates the skin. I do that every morning.”
What are your make-up must haves?
“I love make-up artist Rose-Marie Swift’s line, RMS; it’s organic and in pots that are great to travel with. If I’m feeling a little tired, I apply a red lip, because it really does lift the face.”

REVIEW: Acure Organics Line Eraser
What: A balm to reduce fine lines and scars For: Anyone with fine lines, acne scars or dry patches Review: Now I don’t mean to alarm anyone… but this is a product that claims to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and it actually works. I’ll give you a minute to process this information. Back? Okay. Acure Organics Line Eraser is a USDA certified organic balm with argan oil and...

REVIEW: Hot stone massage
What: Massage using hot volcanic stones and oils. I had mine at Ikou Day Spa in Leura, NSW (Australia) which uses their own (gorgeous) brand of natural and chemical free products – but they are offered at most day spas these days. For: A little glimpse into heaven. Seriously de-stressing & relaxing. Review: This was my first hot stone massage, and it definitely won’t be my last. I’m not...

REVIEW: Aurora Spa Rituals Ultra Rich Body Cream
What: Richly hydrating body moisturiser with a delicious rose fragrance. Think rose petals in the spa, not Grandma’s hand cream. For: Dehydrated skin Review: This is a lovely luxurious moisturiser – not one that I use every day, but one that gets doled out for special occasions. The cream is (as the name suggests) ultra rich, so it’s quite hydrating and leaves a fine film of moisture over the...
