REVIEW: Dr Alkaitis Organic Soothing Gel &...
What: A skin calming gel and replenishing facial oil.
For: Skin that is breaking out and/or generally awful.
Review: I don’t usually review more than one product at once, but this little duo is what saves my skin when it has the nasty combination of both breaking out and feeling dry and undernourished. This usually happens when I’m burning the candle at both ends, and the endless...

GET THE LOOK: Fresh Makeup
After I dragged myself out of bed this morning and had a quick scour of my Pinterest, I landed on this gorgeously fresh makeup look and thought, heck, I’m going to try that! Here are the products I used to get the look:
First, I prepped for glowing skin by using Odacite Jojoba Beads Exfoliant followed by Pai Avocado & Jojoba Hydrating Day Cream (did someone say ho-ho-jojaba?...

WISHLIST: Christmas Shopping (Part I)
The silly season has snuck up on us again, and it seems that I have learnt nothing from previous years’ panic buying experiences and have left the Christmas shopping until the last minute yet again. I’ve scoped out some of my favourite beauty websites, and here are my clean Christmas picks:
MV Organics Travel Essentials - I’ve been using the Gentle Cream Cleanser, Rose Mist...

CLEAN EATS: Two Quick Sugar-Free Breakfasts
As I have previously posted, I am currently on a sugar-free kick with the aid of Sarah Wilson’s I Quit Sugar e-book. To be honest I am finding it a little more difficult than I anticipated (hello dessert menu), but I have almost entirely cut the ‘hidden’ sugar from my diet - so that makes it kinda okay when I have creme brulee, right?
To start the day off on the right note...

REVIEW: Rodin Olio Lusso
What: Decadent, luxurious, divine smelling face oil.
For: All skin types - particularly skin that needs some love & attention.
Review: Okay, first of all, let’s talk about the price. This is a pretty expensive little bottle of oil, not the kind of thing you pick up on a whim during your lunch break along with a felafel wrap. But with the festive season sneaking up on us, it might...

REVIEW: Neom Luxury Organics Candles
What: Luxury candles made with a blend of vegetable wax and pure essential oils (no paraffin wax (the by product of which is petroleum), no synthetic scents and no additional chemicals)
For: A treat for home or a beautiful gift
Review: I remember that during high school everyone went through a phase of giving cheap brightly coloured candles that inevitably smelt of strawberries to one another...

WISHLIST: October 2011
The problem with having an unexpected free weeknight to myself is that I have found myself trawling through all my favourite online clean beauty sites, and have discovered about 2000 products that I would quite like to purchase. So, in order to make this a somewhat productive exercise, here is the shortlist of products that I am coveting this month - if anyone has used any of these, I would love...

REVIEW: Grown Vanilla & Orange Peel Hand Cream
What: Deliciously scented cream for hands.
For: Non-greasy moisture.
Review: WARNING: You WILL want to eat your hands after using this hand cream. It is the most delectably scented product I have ever used and I am tempted to have a nibble of my palm every time I put it on. It has the freshness of a punchy citrus scent with the sweetness & warmth of vanilla… and yes, I am drooling...
