Many controversial ingredients, such as parabens, phthalates, different preservatives, dyes and synthetic fragrances that have either been shown to be harmful to humans, or are still sitting on the fence about it, are used in abundance in conventional skincare.

But why? Even if they may or may not be harmful, does it mean they are healthful? No. It does not. So, why don’t we stop scratching our heads about whether something will destroy our liver or not, and just go for the natural ingredients that are shown to be healthy and beneficial for skin. There, easy.
